Introductory exploration or acquaintance with the Virtual World

Preliminary discussion/introduction

In a preliminary meeting, we assess your primary interests.

Broad overview; experiencing the possibilities of technology

After the intake interview, for example via Teams, we dive live into what we see as potential relationships between your needs and our experience in terms of possibilities in 3D/BIM/AR/VR/MR. We zoom in on your situation and aim to provide a broader perspective.

Selection Deepening of needs

Once we’ve gained a broader mutual understanding, we jointly select the medium- and short-term needs. We use proven checklists for this, based on which we determine the follow-up goals together.
Experiencing Deepening of needs
The primary follow-up goals are experienced in a workshop, focusing on the solution or the direction toward a solution.

Consultancy Start-up Phase

  • Elaboration of current company needs versus suitable solutions
  • Guidance in selecting suitable standard solutions
  • Functional description of unavoidable customizations to standard solutions
  • Functional description of custom solutions

Consultancy Implementation of Standard Solutions

  • 1b Assignment after approval by Management and Core Team

Phase 2
  • 2 Workshop 1: BV presents the developed solution to the implementation Core Team
  • 3 Workshop 2: Core Team presents the developed solution to Management and BV
  • 4 Workshop 3: End users (early adopters) present the developed solution to Management and Core Team

Consultancy Implementation of Custom Solutions

Phase 1
  • 1a Definition and description of desired solution by Core Team
  • 1b Feasibility response by BV

Strategic Services

Relation between company priorities and digitalization
Digitalization strategy

What do you want: a transformation, a digitalization, or an implementation focused on specific business areas? Where do you stand, and what are you ready for? This can be determined through a CMM (Capability Maturity Model) assessment. Do you have the success enablers in place — in your culture, in your strategic roadmap? Building Virtuality has the knowledge, experience, checklists, and methodologies that can help you quickly. We understand the differences between SMEs, mid-sized (family) businesses, and large organizations — and that each requires a different approach. Digitalization can also involve automation, producing more than traditional building methods allow, better alignment with partner companies — in other words, organizing your supply chain differently to develop new business models.

Guidance in Digital Transformation

Success often starts with small sub-solutions. Real business results, however, emerge from integral digitalization. No handovers between departments or partners, but seamless digital integration where data and data structures align — without human reinterpretation. A drawing or PDF is no longer enough. Often even 3D CAD exchange isn’t sufficient. The next level is reached through collaboration and exchange using AR/VR/MR. What’s the key? Creating an environment where different disciplines can and want to understand each other in partnership. As opposed to the traditional project-based procurement and purely transactional “collaboration” — playing suppliers off against one another and sticking to one’s own views.

CMM (Capability Maturity Model) for Digitalization
How does the digital maturity of your organization (across different levels and areas) compare to your stated ambitions? A CMM helps identify focus areas that need improvement in order to move forward. Here, too, integrality plays a key role — especially for embedding innovations successfully and on time. Too many successful innovation pilots end up shelved.

Project Management

When projects are larger in scale with more participants and stakeholders, and require a situation-specific setup and execution, a project manager is indispensable. In such cases, a balanced project leader is often needed on both the client and supplier sides. This may also necessitate a structure of working group management, project management, and steering committee management. This can be important for large-scale implementation projects — certainly for company-wide digitalization projects.

A Specific Event?

Building Virtuality (formerly Recreate), often using the BV PaaS platform, supports the following:

  • Trade shows: let attendees experience your upcoming products
  • Trade shows: let attendees experience your propositions that are too large for a trade show
  • Trade shows: let attendees experience your propositions that are too numerous for a trade show
  • Corporate events (internal): e.g., experiencing innovative technology
  • Corporate events (external): giving partners and customers a new experience, possibly involving your own application
  • Tenders where showcasing innovation plays a key role in decision-making
